His purpose, energy and conviction fueled his meteoric sales success as he “found a way and made a way” to become, in two years, the top salesperson at Liberty Mutual, a company employing over 19,000 people at the time. Bill currently lives in Laguna Beach, California— a long way from the farms and factories of western Pennsylvania. He was raised in a small town of 3,600 people. A rebel without a clue, he chose to work in a factory instead of pursuing a path of higher learning. After realizing that his current limitations were going to become his future reality, Bill began to plan the means and method of escape. He earned the opportunity to attend Purdue University, and from that first step he never looked back—moving “Always Forward” as he continued his education at Penn State University, receiving his Master’s degree. Fresh out of graduate school, full of theory, but deficit in practice, he had two sources of passionate fuel—a tremendous self-belief and an insatiable need to validate his self-worth through achievement.
